Kasauli

hill station of Shimla. Developed by the Britishers during the 19th

most famous places of attractions in this hill town are as follows.
Monkey Point
Lying at a distance of 4 km from the
Kasauli bus stand, the Monkey Point is a major crowd puller here. The
place also features a temple, which is dedicated to Lord Hanuman (the
Monkey god). Monkey Point is known to afford some of the most
eye-catching views of River Satluj and the city of Chandigarh.
Sanawar
Travelling a distance of 6 km from
Kasauli takes you to another popular tourist destination known as
Sanawar. Here, you can make a visit to the 100-year-old Lawrence School,
which was established by Sir Henry Lawrence. A picturesque waterfall and
the Nahara Devi Temple are famous attractions at Sanawar.
Baba Balak Nath Temple
The famous temple occupies a position
atop the Garner Hill, 3 km away from Kasauli. The temple stands here in
the memory of Baba Balak Nath. Childless couples regularly arrive at the
temple to get blessed with a child.

Chandigarh, 65 km away, is the closest
airport from Kasauli. A little farther at 73 km is the second closest
airport of Shimla. If you are arriving by rail, you can first catch a
train to Kalka, the closest railway station from Kasauli. There are
regular taxi services available from Kalka to Kasauli. The road trip
takes around an hour. Direct bus services to Kasauli are available from
key destinations like Delhi, Chandigarh and Shimla among others.
