Payment Policy
All your correspondences must be addressed to
Mahalaxmi Tours & Travels (P) .Ltd. at the address mentioned on our
contact us page. If you want to hold a tour, you need to pay us 50% of
the total package cost in advance. Rest of the amount must be paid after
your arrival in India, 7 days before our travel service commence.
Depending on specific requirements, Mahalaxmi Tours & Travels (P)
.Ltd. has the right to decide the amount to be paid in advance. During
peak season, we may ask you to pay the total tour package cost in
advance to hold space on a 'confirmed basis'. Travellers are also hereby
notified that the amount paid during peak season is 'non-refundable'.
Mode of Payment
Mahalaxmi Tours & Travels (P) .Ltd. accepts payment through wire
transfer, credit card or in cash. If you want to pay us through credit
cards, you can deposit the amount in one of our bank accounts. Credit
card payers will need to send a photocopy of their credit cards via fax.
All credit card payments will include a service charge of 3.5 per cent.
Terms of Booking
When you make a booking with us, you have a contract with Mahalaxmi
Tour & Travels. The contract will be valid only when -
¤ We have confirmed the booking.
¤ We have received the booking form, signed by you.
¤ We have received the deposit.
¤ We have sent you a booking confirmation for the requested
services.
Deposit
After we have received the signed booking form from you, 50% deposit of
the total package cost must be paid to us in advance. It is convenient
to pay the balance amount within 30 days before departure. For bookings
done within 30 working days of the tour departure, the entire amount
will become immediately due with cash/ DD only. The amount will be
collected in INR and charged according to the bank card rate, as
applicable at the time of the payment.
Cancellation Policy
In case of cancellation of services or modifications in travel
arrangement, you are required to send us notification for the same in
written. Cancellation charges will be effective from the time/ date we
receive your notification.
For cancellation/ amendment in travel services, charges will apply as
follows -
¤ More than 28 days prior to your arrival at destination - Deposit
only
¤ 27 - 14 days prior to your arrival at destination - 65% of the
total tour price
¤ 13 - 07 days prior to your arrival at destination - 75% of total
tour price
¤ 06 days or less - 100% of total tour price
